About to take the leap to self employment.

Due to childcare I have to drop my employment and take my first steps in to self employment and entrepreneurship early next year. I have many ideas which I am looking to bring to fruition and will have the time and skills to do so.While I am confident I will be able to make this work, I am trying to come up with every eventuality and have a plan to tackle any mishaps or obstacles.So I ask you, is there anything to watch out for when starting out which you wish you would've planned for?
