How do you set realistic longterm and short term goals? Is the only metric your revenue or profit, or is there other metrics that you should you consider to measure how well your business is doing. Or if you have multiple sources of income, for instance. What do you guys think?

I'm 24. Today I woke up and I'm going my usual work, and I decide okay, I need to start setting up goals and milestones, so I'm not just drifting aimlessly. Except for I could not think of any. The only remotely reasonable thing I came up with was, "Well, I want to be a millionaire by 30", which is so abstract and not particularly a well-defined goal. Just looking for guidance regarding this, so I am realistic with myself. When do you also decide well one project is going well I can automate it to an extent so that I can start working on developing other things a bit more. I knew it sounds irrelevant, but it would be a big part of my goal system. To allow a business/project to reach a certain level so I can start developing another project/source of income. What do you guys think? see hubwealthy.com/wealthy
