Do I NEED an LLC right now? Or should I hold off?

Hello all! Im in the market to sell custom socks! Im currently designing and tinkering around with designs, so im not selling yet. But, I already have my brand name, bought a domain, set up all social media accounts, theres just nothing on them right now. Im just confused, because it seems like you absolutely NEED one, but many, many shops on Etsy dont show that LLC next to their name? As well as, theres about a 60% chance i will be moving out of California by the end of the year, and If I get an LLC in the state of California, I dont want to pay the 800 fee, then turn around and refile for a foreign LLC. So my question is, when do I NEED an LLC? Should I get one now? Or should I get one when my shop is up and running?Thanks! see hubwealthy.com/wealthy
