Employee vs Entrepreneur

So I started a small seasonal business about two months ago. Everything is wrapped up for the year, but in about 70 hours of work I managed to do about $20k in sales, which profited me about 11k after all expenses and putting tax money aside. In my very short stint of entrepreneurship I noticed a core difference in the way I interface with working.During my day job, I count the hours all day until I'm out. I work a well paid and interesting job, but I rarely get into a "flow state." Constantly hungry or maybe just craving the stimuli food provides. I'm thinking about other things I want to do, I'm thinking about the weekend, I'm thinking about everything else but my work for most of my day, and then hyperfocusing for short bursts as necessary. The day drags on, and I check the time constantly. How is it not 4:30 yet?During my business venture, I'd begin my work day around 8:00 am and completely lose myself in the work. I get into a flow state where my work almost completes itself. I forget to eat, move efficiently and diligently and have almost a buzz of energy. The sun is already going down? Holy crap it's 7:00 pm already? I need to eat something.I don't know if this is some ADHD remnants from childhood, my brain knowing my time is much more valuable not punching a clock, or the excitement of being on my own, but working for myself is sooo much more engaging and fulfilling. Can anybody relate? see hubwealthy.com/wealthy
