Tldr: Researched a business case jokingly, did't research name availability, now want start business with name, what to do?Hi,I am studying digital marketing and did a little project a while back, we were doing a marketing analysis on a fictional selected business case. Somehow the idea we choose stuck with me and I started doing more and more research and came to the conclusion that I really wanna build this brand. I have all the resources I need to get started by myself. When we first started we came up with random names and selected the one we liked most, without any research and so on. Somehow I really liked the name and the way it was connected to the brands identity and further on worked with it. Long story short, I wanted to get a domain name and realised that this name was already taken by a brand in a somewhat similar branch. These are the circumstances:What the business is about:{company name} produces high quality clothing with mythical art prints by selected tattoo artists. All artworks are inspired by fairy tales, myths, fables and other tall stories. Every product is made from sustainable, long lasting heavyweight cotton, produced ethically fair in europe and printed with high-quality durable prints. The problem:I already have name I really like and could connect with my brands identity and the story its telling, but another brand uses the same name in a different country for kid's fashion, they also have physical stores and focus on designer clothes for children and really don't use their brands name as a face for everything. The question:First, do I really need to pick another name for my brand or is my niche small enough to not get bothered because the target groups are so different, the distribution channel is mainly different etc. ?If so, do you have arguments for it? And how do you find a good name for your brand? I brainstormed hours and hours and everything I find appealing is either taken, too long or complicated. Please excuse grammatical errors and typos, english is my second language. Thanks in Advance. see hubwealthy.com/wealthy
