I’m 21 yo, completed graduation this year.Back in Nov 2020, I met this guy while freelancing. He’s 57 yo, experienced architect. He started a smart city product-based company in the EU. It was still in concept phase and I was asked to help through a basic tech hiccup he had. After that, we connected well while he explained the idea and I liked it very much and soon things moved on and I started working with him on developing the MVP. He asked me if I wanted to be on the founder’s team or as employee. I chose founder’s team and my equity was discussed at 10%.But now it’s just him and I doing all the work. I do the technical work while also trying to indulge into writing applications for the accelerator and helping in pitch deck, etc. He also brings quite a bit to the table with his connections and dealing with people. Now after 1 yr we’ve not yet spoken about the cap table (though I asked him once he said yes we’ll discuss later) and I STILL DON’T have any paperwork. I had a decent job offer but I declined, to work on this startup. We’re pretty good friends and I like working with him.Now I’ve not earned any money during this 1 yr which is bad for me as I had moved out of my parents and now I’m borrowing cash from them after exhausting my savings and it’s depressing. But now he’s calling me to his yacht in US in a few months, to go on a trip while installing IoT devices and other tech on the boat and he said I’ll get paid $10/hr for that. And when I suggested doing a business visa he asked me to do tourist as he didn't wanna deal with paperwork. So, my question is-1. How do I politely ask for paperwork to be done?2. Shouldn't he invest some cash into the company (he’s rich) and that will help as founder’s salary right now?3. Do you think something is fishy? see hubwealthy.com/wealthy
