A while back I wrote about how one of my older SEO clients had actually left me and discontinued his SEO services, and it wasn't because he wasn't satisfied or didn't see results but rather he was going to sell his business and retire. Once he had left I assumed that was the last I was going to hear from him; however, the other day I believe he left me a parting gift as I received a text saying "Hey my name is ____ and I'm a roofing buddy of ____, I heard you help businesses with SEO services?". After a little conversation and some price negotiation, we decided to sign a 6 month SEO contract.It was completely unexpected, but honestly, I'm super grateful to have even gotten the opportunity to work with my original client in the first place, and seeing him look out for me and recommend my services even in his retirement really meant a lot to me. This is going to be my first referral client and I am super excited to get in there and start helping him grow his business through the use of SEO.
