I need to change something in my team, but I dunno where to start.

Hello everybody!I have a small company. Hence I have a small team of employees. I’m not going too deep about the specifics of our work. I don’t think it’s gonna be reasonable and that you would be interested in hearing all the aspects of our work. Overall, I can say that we provide some sort of services for other companies and work B2B. So, about 20 people work for me. Despite all the stereotypes about employers, I try to provide my team with a comfortable office and different facilities. I also used to work for someone a while ago, and I try to be a good boss and leader for my team. But the reason I’m writing here is not to brag that I’m the best boss ever. As for me, it seems like my team doesn’t appreciate what I do for them. It’s not like I am not satisfied with their results. It’s the way they do their job. Overall, we are doing okay. But, I know that we can do more. Hence, we can achieve more and make more profit. My team has lost their motivation, and money, including bonuses, can no longer motivate them. So, I know that I need to re-arrange the team. Besides, I guess that I have too many people with the current volume of work. So, in other words, I need to cut some jobs and fire someone. I’m thinking of firing someone who works with the clients and does the main job. That’s why I’m looking for different evaluation methods. As I mentioned earlier, overall, we are doing okay, but we could do more. By this, I mean that I have to force and beg my team to start working most of the time. It happens every morning. For instance, we have deadlines, and overall, people manage to complete the work on time. So, making them work costs me a lot of energy, and I feel exhausted. I don’t wanna yell at anyone or even humiliate someone. But, this can’t last forever. Recently, I came across one interesting methodic called the behavioral observation scale. I wonder if anyone has tried something similar? Does it work?I would really appreciate it if you would share some of your experiences. Thank you for your time reading all this! see hubwealthy.com/wealthy
