Is it okay to work a Super Normal day job that's totally unrelated to your Entrepreneurial Pursuits?

This seems like a stupid question but let me explain...I've had some very minor successes over the years with my entrepreneurial pursuits (and a tonne of failures, I'm 24) BUT, I've never been able to get any of my ideas/products/services to be able to provide an income that I can live on without starving/being homeless, so I've always worked odd and mostly unrelated jobs to keep funding myself and to keep exploring.This year I committed to a gardening apprenticeship which seems totally fuckin' random when you look at my job history/hobbies but it's an area I've always been interested in and I really enjoy the outdoor, physical work/lifestyle.I'm just having this weird disconnect because I've always thought your 'side hustle' or big business idea was supposed to be almost universally derived from your day job (identifying a pain point in your industry/area of expertise then using your brain and creativity to manifest a solution = $, right?).The side hustles and things I'm working on outside of work have nothing to do with gardening in the slightest and I don't know, it feels weird having this stable money coming in from an industry I'm not actively trying to create/innovate in?From all the entrepreneurial material I've read and videos watched over the years it just seems that if you're trying to make an app, then your day job should be in tech, if you're trying to start a social media agency then your day job should be in marketing. It just makes sense.I hated working in an office (I only lasted a year) so I'm really enjoying doing the complete opposite of that right now and the stability of getting paid the same every week whilst having ample time to work on my side hustles/creative projects (I work 7:30am to 3:30pm Mon-Thu with a half day on Fridays at tech school, weekends off).So basically, if I'm developing a side business that's totally unrelated to the field/industry I'm working in during the day... is that okay?
