Do people really buy clothes from Shopify websites?

I want to start a small business on Shopify selling some clothing accessories that will be in very high demand but my one true concern is that do people even really buy accessories (that you can easily buy on Amazon) on random websites on the internet. Personally I have never bought anything from random websites so I don't know how other people might feel about this. Usually, even if I find something on a random website the first thing I look at is Amazon to see if it's cheaper there or faster shipping (which it usually always is). So my question really is, will I get any traffic (and even better actual orders) on a website that sells a highly demanded accessory? I will be advertising on social media. Thanks in advance! see hubwealthy.com/wealthy
