Advice from a dude whose now staffed 3 restaurants during the covid pandemic while maintaining 2 others. How to communicate with employees.

Howdy if this helps one fucking person then this is a fat W.Your entire goal as an employer in the restaurant industry should be to help your employee get another job. Yes this is a wild fucking statement. But let me explain.I have had 8 highschool students leave me this year. All for college. I'm so fucking proud of this group and there hard work. Sometimes good employers lose employees and that's how it should be. I had those kids for 1-3 years each where they grew to manage and run shifts. If you're in the business of restaurants I think you'd agree in a heart beat that it you can keep an employee for 2-3 years that is a huge fucking win..and that needs to be the mindset. Now trust me I am more than aware that there are a ton of good qualifed adults who also lose there jobs due to automation or just not dealing with shity fucking bosses and they also find themselves applying to jobs in food maybe with the mindset of temporarily. And that's okay. I love these people. They are intelligent and sometimes are feeling down and unmotivated. Guess what if you help push them to keep applying in there field or to continue to grow alot of them will give you a good year while they get organized. Appreciate that human. Love them. They will manage your store so you can golf sometimes. That's a good human. Help them with there homework when you can. Help them grown and find what they want to do next. You have to be able to communicate and organize. To maintain employees structure is everything. Define rules. And trust others. So many restaurant owners don't push past owning more than one store not because there foods not fucking delicious but because they can't trust others. If you treat someone well you gain there trust..most folks are not bad people..let them grow. For your own fucking sake dude. You can not build a company without finding the best in others.. and fuck micro managing. Train hard. Work with them when you can. Help everyone you can. see hubwealthy.com/wealthy
