OverviewI have created a super useful, unique, and user-friendly web service which helps volunteer and professional firefighters respond to fire alarms faster and smarter. My system is 100% web based, powered by PHP, and ready for launch. The primary competitor in this industry, iAmResponding.com, boasts about having 8,000+ clients and charges $800.00/year (a 6.4m revenue). Being in the fire service industry myself for almost 3 years, I can personally tell you that their base technology is probably 15 years old. They frequently add new features, but for each new feature they add their app just keeps getting slower and clunkier. Tons of useless features, server delays, and even frequent app crashing. No one likes it. There are a few other competitors in this industry, but they are relatively minor. The technology that I created is so refreshing to the fire service world. Much needed. Super easy. No useless features, clean, secure, easy setup, and perfectly reliable.But isn't it hard to sell something to a fire department? Not really. They're government agencies, yeah, but they get so much budget each year (especially for technology purposes) that they can usually buy whatever comes their way. The commissioners/chiefs have regular meetings where they make decisions on these matters. Like I said above, iAmResponding was able to rack up nearly 10,000 departments out of the 28,000 departments in the USA. You can easily market this software outside of the USA as well.The problem for meI just couldn't care less about operating and marketing a business. My plan from day 1 is to sell the software for a big paycheck to a business or individual investor. After all, I'm a young software nerd and I don't know the first thing about keeping business afloat. My wife and I already make bank and the last thing I want is to come home from work and have to keep up with this business too.The business model is pretty much self explanatory, FB/Google ads are cheap since there's not a ton of competition being advertised here, postcard marketing may or may not work wonders, and there's lots of social media presence for firefighters which you could probably work with.Why am I selling this for $67,500?It's obvious that my business itself is worth $0. I have no revenue, Heck I haven't even launched yet. It's because I'm valuing the software that I worked on developing the last 14 months. In other words, I'm selling you the full idea, the business model, AND the finished product. If you were to think of this idea yourself and hire a developer/agency to create it, this is probably the bare minimum of how much it would cost in the end.
