Hey guys, I’ve read several subs through the search feature and haven’t found a great answer so far.I have had a career as a political consultant, but have shifted more into government affairs and consulting corporate clients. A business I’ve worked with now wants to retain me to help them raise money to grow from 2-3 locations (and several trucks) to 20+.They have a great business model that makes good money. I have a few connections with plenty of money looking for projects to invest in. So this seems like a match made in heaven. My question is, how should I go about charging them for this? What should I charge as my basic fee? Then should it be an incentive bonus or % commission/both? If so, what is typical commission percentage for this kind of work? The business is a restaurant chain that has a small executive team all paid around $75-150k and good cash flow. Lastly, if anyone has specific advice or questions I should ask either side (entrepreneurs or investors), I’m all ears. Thanks. see hubwealthy.com/wealthy
