Creating a second company to elude competition and stay under the radar?

B2B. So I have my existing company and we're slowly making a name for ourselves. Still not really well known but obviously at some point we may be.I'm wondering what your thoughts are on creating a second company to deal with many sales and transactions to throw our competition off. A lot of our competitors are actually still trading partners. It's like that with many in this industry, everyone buys and sells to each other at some point. But I'd still rather stay under the radar. I don't think it benefits me in any way for my competition to know I'm expanding on their territory.I want to start getting into some really niche markets with higher margins, less competition. So if there's only one or two guys selling X and suddenly I pop in and steal the sales, they're gonna find out easily. Which is why I want to create this second sleeper company. They'll know who the company is from the customer but won't know it's also our company. Are there any things I should watch out for? Like if I buy product with one company and want to sell some with my second I'd have to sell it to myself and get taxed on the income twice, no? see hubwealthy.com/wealthy
