How do I build my SaaS product?

Hello all, I am a sole non-technical founder and am wondering what steps to take to develop my SaaS product. I have a (very) general understanding of how development works, so will obviously need to hire a contractor. My questions are:On a broad level, what does development of a web-based B2B product entail? My strong preference is for the entire thing (front end and back end) to be based on AWS. I presume this reduces security risks and I am not concerned about being tied down to a vendor. What attributes do you use to select a developer and how much does it cost? My plan was to provide a roadmap of what I need it to do and obtain quotes.Follow-up to the above, what is the pricing structure of contracts? I would prefer a guaranteed maximum price, but what is typical? What sorts of agreements are entered into with developers? Do developers push back on independent contractor agreements with confidentiality, non-compete and IP assignment provisions? I feel like if I'm paying someone I should own the IP. see hubwealthy.com/wealthy
