Is it pointless doing a business that already heavily exists and I can’t really improve?

I’m really into collectables and it’s something I’m pretty passionate about. I’d like to start an online store selling certain collectible items in the UK. But it’s pretty saturated already and there isn’t anything I can do differently or improve so it would be essentially be me moving into a space and just taking a slice of the pie.Despite my passion for the subject and wanting to run the store and existing business experience.
