I want to start selling my songs, any advice?

Right so basically I write music, I want to start selling songs. I think they'd be good for birthdays, like writing songs for people's birthdays. A personalized song verse (like a satirical one). I'm thinking of building a website via Wix, listing the service on eBay, and then put some money into advertising the service. What do people think? Does anyone have any advice on this sort of thing?I've been doing this for free for friends and I get good reviews and everyone's asking me to do it now.
