Idea: Indie-hackathon: An on-going hackathon-eqsue business building group for recurring development

The problem with Hackathons is they're very short, one-off events that don't really have a chance to become something significant.I was thinking of something like a virtual club that would meet on a regular basis, say weekly or monthly, where members just get together and work on their projects. Each event, there could be a pitch and even prizes for folks that are ready, but the aim would be for people to be able to continue each week from the last.Has anyone seen something organized like this? The reason I use the term "Indie-hackathon" is that I imagine you would need an existing community to piggyback off of, and I believe Indeihackers would be the folks to do it, because they have an amazing blend of business and creative focus. see hubwealthy.com/wealthy
