Benefit Corp vs LLC?

I couldn’t find any recent info in the sub about benefit corporations. We are currently an LLC, however we have been thinking about switching to a benefit corporation. Just wondering if there are any others in here that have switched from another type of business structure to a benefit Corp and your experience.
