Hello! I am a graphic designer but have always worked for other companies. I am trying to start my own freelance business but am having a difficult time trying to get clients. I want to specialize in branding/logos/visual identity and have only a handful of those in my portfolio. Therefore I have been reducing my fees to try and attract new clients (with the hope they will be repeat customers). I have not had a ton of luck gaining new clients. I have tried posts through Reddit and spammed all of my family/friends and social media accounts. Any other suggestions for someone trying to start out on their own?
