PC building/repair - How to handle deposits, payments, etc.

(not sure if this is the right place...)Thinking about a PC building/upgrading/repair side gig, mostly for personal users, gaming PC's etc, NOT corporate machines. I have zero experience with the "money" side of things.Say a client wants me to build a PC for them. Easiest would be to have client supply all the parts, and I do the assembly and configuration, then just charge them for labor. How would I do it if client says they don't want to buy the parts, they just want a $2000 pc that does xyz. What would be the best way to do this, and what kind of legal contracts/documents would I need? I could take a deposit from them to buy the parts for example, what kind of document would help to ensure the client that I won't run off with their money, things of that nature?Or if I decide to buy the parts out of my own pocket, is there something that would bind the client to actually pay? Like I could spend the $2k and he might come back and say haha nevermind I don't want it?I'm a total business noob, so any other kinds of pitfalls in a business like that I should be aware of? see hubwealthy.com/wealthy
