To make a long story short, 2021 was a very eventful year for my cofounders and I. We sold our startup for $50m with each of us taking in millions personally, we relocated to a new and exciting city, we've grown our company by 30 employees, we each won personal accolades from some of the top news publications in America, and so much more. The issue I'm having is since acquisition I've probably worked less than I have ever before.. 30-40 hour work weeks. It means I have more time on my hands, but I'm just wasting those hours.. I'm going out partying in the new city, playing video games, relaxing with weed and creating art.I've never done this before in my life. I have ideas that with time and effort could result in positive change to communities around me.The issue is while I have these ideas and I have the ability to execute on these ideas and make a positive impact, I don't. I don't have the motivation to execute on personal goals. I'm too comfortable working 30-40 hours and then enjoying the rest of my time. For the past 6 years I've been working 60+ hours a week. I just don't have the desire or drive to do that today. It's a very difficult feeling to accept. I hope it's temporary as I know my potential can far exceed what I've achieved so far, but for now, I'm seemingly happy wasting that potential. see hubwealthy.com/wealthy
