It's my last year in college and I got an internship in a company that manufactures disposable gloves (Especially Medical Examination Gloves). And I tried to reach more than 50 distributors and I got zero response.The product is not the cheapest in the market but it's of high good quality and the company is a respected brand all around the world. I send in the initial email all the information about the company, the specification sheet, and the certificate of conformity. I also offer to send samples if they are interested. Even more, my boss said she will personally have a conversation with a purchasing agent if they show interest in the product (She never does that but she gave me that option to gain more credibility), but nothing.
