Business Partner has no sense of time and unproductive during daily internal video calls

We will have set times for our internal daily video calls and one of my business partner's is incredibly unproductive during our calls just about 80% of the time. Unproductive in the sense that he will insist on certain things and will "beat a dead horse till there's nothing left". Instead of taking care of certain things after our call, he'll just call that contact and put it on speaker phone, or we'll watch him type out an email. He'll be tasked to take a look at something and because "we are all together" he'll say "since you're all here lets just review it together". Our 30 or 1hr meetings turn to 2 sometimes 3 hour meetings till one of us are fed up and say "I have to go eat" or say "I really need to finish something before the end of the day". Before you guys tell me to just say it straight to him, he is very sensitive and is much older. Just to see his reaction I mentioned how Google Calendar can now track how many hours you spend during meetings, and he immediately got defensive and said, "What for?!? If you have to have a meeting for something then it has to take whatever it takes! What is the purpose of even tracking such a thing?!?" I am at a crossroads because without him our business wouldn't be where it is due to his great contacts and relationships, any suggestions how to kindly tell him to stay on topic and not drag these meetings any longer than it needs to be? see hubwealthy.com/wealthy
