Advertising before registering as a business?

Morning allI launched a website with the time saved from not commuting. May not make any money from it, but I’d be happy to put a few hundred £ into advertising, to drive a bit of traffic and get some more feedback.I haven’t registered it as a business because I still see it at hobby stage, but I think Twitter/Reddit etc insist on ‘being a business’ before you advertise?
