When I was in my 20s, I quit my job to start a company with only $5k in savings because the media had convinced me that it could be done because others had done it. When I dug deeper I realized that a lot of successful entrepreneurs tell half truths about what it costs to build startups. They make us believe they bootstrapped and made it on ramen noodles, when in fact they could count on the bank of mom and dad if life got too tough. I, on the other hand, fell on very hard times when my money ran out. I want to use my Instagram account to caution aspiring entrepreneurs to be smarter about money because it’s impossible to be creative when you’re worried about how you’re going to pay rent. My advice: don’t quit your day job too soon. Please follow my account. see hubwealthy.com/wealthy
