Questions for licensing inventions

Has anyone successfully licensed an invention? I have a few that i've created and I would rather focus on getting a job than going the traditional route of doing a start-up for now until the royalties kick in.. I started a few hustles in the past, made some money, but not enough to sustain myself. So i am deciding to just try the "license lifestyle" as proposed by Stephen Key in "One Simple Idea". This is also because I don't have the distribution and don't feel like busting my ass for one.So with that said, any advice on licensing? Advice on cutting deals with companies? Negotiations?The only things I really need to figure out from here are how to make the product, and how much it will cost.
