Criticism/advice on the website: new small business trying to understand how to convert sales

Cross posted on r/smallbusinessHi everyone,Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I've seen a few people ask for advice on their website + marketing ideas. I just don't remember which subreddit it was in, so please re-direct me if this is misplaced.I just started my first e-commerce store, EMRI Studio, mid-September 2020 (www.emri-studio.com). I have been getting lots of traffic, but not as many purchases as I would like (~10+ sales to date).I was wondering if anyone could provide some constructive criticism on how I’m going about this + any advice/criticism on the website (https://ift.tt/2J2tz48 is NOT a dropshipping site, but rather a handmade jewelry business focusing on sustainable and ethical practices.Things I have tried/am doing:- influencer marketing (have about 12 influencers lined up. Both gifting and paid collaboration. Not very happy with how the paid collabs are turning out though. Spent X amount, and DID NOT see X in return.) IG: @ emri.studio- Spent ~$800 in ads. Is this too much? Initially, I had ZERO data on my potential customer, only an idea of what my customer was like (ie. age range, engaged shopper behavior, gender, interests). Also was a little bit lost with FB marketing, so it felt like I was experimenting with ads and learning. But, I’ve had Facebook Pixel set up for 4 weeks now. It seems to have collected enough data and right now, my ad is getting a lot of traction. (Spending no more than $15/day since I started)- Creating social proof with the notification pop-ups on the website (not sure how I feel about this though)- Email collection started from day 1. I have almost 100 emails.Things I’m doing in the future:- Even better photos - I just bought one of those mini photo studios from Amazon and am planning on taking new product photos with it.- I’m looking into adding “product reviews” and testimonials, but not sure how I feel about it?- Continue growing the IG profile — almost at 200 followers & posting every day with relevant hashtags. But gosh, organic growth is SO slow!- Focusing on honing in the artistic vision for the brand- I think the narrative needs to be defined a bit more, so am trying to figure that out as wellHere’s a few questions. It would be nice if you could provide some insight into one (or all!) of them!- Given you are an engaged shopped interested in sustainable fashion and shopping locally, would you or would you not purchase from the shop? And why?- Any suggestions/criticisms for the site? (ie. fonts weird, not enough information, checkout not clear, etc.)- How long did it take you to grow your business to sustainably support yourself? (p.s. would be helpful if you’re also in the fashion business/handmade clothing or accessories sector)- I understand that these things take time and that the online jewelry/fashion market is very saturated, but is there anything else I could be doing to convert more sales? Thanks for taking the time to read this! I know it's a hodgepodge of questions and ideas, but I don't have anyone in my life that really knows anything about this kinda stuff. I really look forward to hearing how I can improve! Thanks again! see hubwealthy.com/wealthy
