Alibaba shipment question (noob here so please be nice)

For a couple of weeks I’ve been looking for reliable jewelry suppliers on alibaba. I read various article and stories and how to’s on finding a good supplier. Well anyways I’m like 90% sure I found one and ordered a small amount of jewelry from them. I messaged them.After purchasing, the shipment page says “please contact the supplier to complete the delivery by shipping method and at the cost agreed upon.”Well the shipping amount was already determined and agreed upon before I ordered it, but does this mean I can tell them what carrier I would prefer? DHL, fedex, etc.Also when the product arrives, will the courier let you know via text or something that you can pay your duty fees? With covid, a lot of carriers are not doing contact shipping (we are on lockdown) so I’m assuming they’d email you or something and you pay and then they deliver after? see hubwealthy.com/wealthy
