
Currently have an employee saying he did not receive payroll for pay period ending 12/18. Pay day was 12/24. Didn’t receive it day of and confirmed still not in his bank account today.I have Quickbooks Payroll and upon researching myself, Quickbooks status for this employee is saying “Processed” and that it should have been in his bank account by the end of the day 12/24.I did some Googling and apparently Trump put an executive order that 12/24 was a federal holiday this year. Did more research and Chase (my business bank acct) is still doing business 12/24 but US Bank (employees bank acct) is not.Should I be concerned? What should I do or who should I call?This is my best employee and do not want to lose him over something small. But at the same time everything checks out on my end and I’m not sure what to do.
