EXECUTION Starting VR Training Business - Feedback On How I Plan To Get My First Client (Any Ideas?)

The business - creating virtual reality simulations to help industrial clients train employees (still unsure about the niche). The problem - getting the first clientHere's how my prospecting plan looks in my head:- Create a fake VR training simulation and take it to trade shows (not purchasing a booth... I think) and show them how it works- Cold approaching the businesses and/or calling before to setup meetings at the show at their booth- Bringing data on how VR training can cut costs, reduce accidents, reskill employees on new machinery without having to travel, and speed up time to launch for new employees. And following up from there. That's what I've done for the last few years selling advertising and it works pretty well. Maybe having the VR headset is going to be tricky lugging it around if I need my laptop... but setting up meetings beforehand can mitigate that.I feel like cold calling companies to show VR training is going to be rough since I can't really show them, I'd need to fly there to show how the solution works in person. I'm decent at cold calling/prospecting, but I think going to the shows is going to drum up much more business.I also feel like the first client is going to be tough because I can't show any previous work, and nobody wants to be a pioneer. I would absolutely consider doing it for free for the first client just to get one under my belt, maybe a big name that I can put on my website that says "look, we worked with this huge company and here's how that project went". Maybe make a case study out of it.Fortunately I have the cash to eat if I need to make a first-time project for a good company. Still may be hard to show them the value since I'm so new to the product.Any other ideas? Thoughts to bounce off this? What do you think about purchasing a trade show booth? Maybe do that after the first project? Thanks guys see hubwealthy.com/wealthy
