Anyone found success franchising their business out?

Wanted to see if any franchise pros on /entrepreneur can offer their insight on being a franchisor instead of carrying their brand private.Details about the business:Almost 2 years in business in QSR. First year we did about 800k gross, with approximately 40% net margins. This year we're on track to do 1.8mm+ with the same margins.Business is heavier than we can handle and we think we can boost revenue to 3.2mm over the next year with just 1 store with some optimizations and staffing. The Situation:We're constantly getting offers for investments or franchising. The thing is though, we're sufficiently capitalized to open more stores, so I want to keep it private because unless someone offers us 100mm to grow this nationwide, we can scale this slowly out on our own over a few years. The Questions:Does it even make sense to entertain a franchise deal when we can own it wholly and just keep the profits?Fast growth would be nice but the hit to take home distribution from a franchise model is off putting.Am I missing some sort of angle that could benefit me from franchising that I wouldn't if I kept it private?Your collective wisdom is appreciated 🙏 see hubwealthy.com/wealthy
