Considering partnership role with a small business

Hello. So there’s a well established local barbershop/salon (it’s two businesses under one LLC) near my home where I work at. I initially started as their receptionist but I quickly noticed how the owner was very forward thinking, but lacked any sort of direction or formal professionalism (barely speaks English for example).I started helping him streamline his work by setting up things like a proper booking app, marketing techniques, employee contracts etc etc. Both stores are seeing a major difference in organization, structure and profits as a result. A few months later and the owners approached me to be the general manager of the store with a significant pay raise.Since I already have access to the store’s finances, I’m well aware they can’t afford the salary we’ve negotiated on. I was thinking about proposing some sort of partnership instead. The only problem is I have absolutely no idea how or what to do to move that forward. I have 0 experience in the inner workings of equity ownership. Who would I talk to to get a good idea about a percentage, my long term roles, salary etc.Would love any sort of guidance here :( see hubwealthy.com/wealthy
