From reading many posts on this sub I get the impression that many want to be an entrepreneur simply to get more money. If it can get you more money, then why wouldn't you, right? But is that the case for the average person on here? If your main desire is wealth, then there are other ways to achieve that. I reached financial freedom mainly from my job and investing. I had a few side hustles along the way that helped me get there sooner. But I would have got there with just a job.I'm not trying to put anyone off being an entrepreneur. If that's what you want, then go for it.Before you do that you should think deeply about why you're doing it. If it's for wealth, then is this the easiest and quickest way to achieve it? Often it's not.Another thing I notice is that many people on here try to start businesses where they lack even a basic understanding of what's involved. If you want to start a business, you need to understand what you're doing. You can learn along the way, but if you don't know the basics, maybe you'd be better off sticking with a day job and gaining more experience.People on here that start POD, dropshipping, web development, and similar things almost all fail. Despite this, these are the main things that people start. It should be obvious that with such a high failure rate that you're also very likely to fail. The only ones that succeed will be the ones that understand these niches. So, think carefully about why you want to be an entrepreneur, and think carefully about what business you want to start. That way you're more likely to succeed.Don't jump into the latest fad just because you read that one person made money from it. And don't jump into it because you hate your day job. It's easy enough to change your job. see hubwealthy.com/wealthy
