Negotiate price and MOQ on PL Product (China)

Hi!I know there's quite a few posts about negotiation with manufacturers in China, but I would like some advice.We're looking into buying a product (accessory to some musical instruments). The MOQ is 300 but 1000 for private label with custom packaging and logo print on product. The price per unit is 18 USD and is fixed for both 300, 500 and 1000 units.The product is in high quality but a regular product in their assortment. We bought a sample from them and there isn't other manufacturers, to our knowledge, that make a product close to this design. But it wouldn't be impossible to find a manufacturer that could "copy" their product.How much can we negotiate? We were thinking about 800 units and 10-15% in discount. see hubwealthy.com/wealthy
