Hi /r/Entrepreneur, my startup is a SAAS (webapp) that solves a niche issue in a niche industry (is that a given?).I'm at the stage where I have created a MVP of the software myself, and I have pitched it to a potential major client with the pricetag of $150k/year. The client showed keen interest and didn't even baulk at the price - great. They want to get started with a small trial in the next 1-2 months, before onboarding their whole portfolio.My main issue is that I'm not a software developer. I've built the software on a 'headless wordpress', and while I haven't found any bugs as of yet, I'm terrified that my shoddy PHP will come crashing down, along with the inherent risk of storing client files in the wordpress open directories.I obviously don't have the $150k yet, and I need to keep my day job to support myself while I work on this on the side. But I also feel the need to hire a software developer to plug the security holes and develop more features of the webapp, as well as other people such as UX and graphic designers.This is the first time I've done all this, and I'm surprised at how far I've come, but I really need some direction going forward.
