How do I go about my business?

So I'm still in highschool and me and a friend have started a business, it consists of the following: finding curbside free furniture, refurbish it (by this I just mean make it look presentable) and flip it online, we are only using OfferUp at the moment but I want to see if this will be a successful endeavor as we are still both in school and have a part time job, what are ways we can grow this business?
