I want to make an app

So me and my team have this idea of an app(and have started working on it) that will help students with various problems they face all in one place. We have planned for features like: a platform to review teachers so new people can have an idea about them, student related news feed and a platform to buy and sell old school stuff.The problem is, we don't know whether an app like that is actually needed or not. So we made a google for asking questions justify this, but we didn't get many submissions.What can I do to know this? see hubwealthy.com/wealthy
