Anyone experienced switching back to employment?

Hi everyone,Quick intro about myself first.. I’m 27 F this year from a South East Asian country (not Singapore, but aiming to find a job there). I started doing websites for clients almost 4 years ago, I started barely knowing how to do websites at all, I learnt web designing and coding from scratch. I also dropped out from architecture school after 1.5 years in, due to family financial difficulties and the mental stress that ensued. I also had experience tutoring students after dropping out from college. So right now, I’m trying to find a at least mid-level ux job in Singapore. Why mid-level? Because for years I’ve managed to learn and do many things by myself: design, coding, sales, negotiation, marketing, etc. And I do know that most people will find it tough to learn things and what more in a high pressure situation. Hence, I know I’m way better than many undergraduates out there, though I’m also young.I’d like to know is there any stigmas companies have when they see an applicant who’s mostly self-employed in their professional life?I know accomplishments matter too, but right now I only have a few projects that are with a startup or medium enterprise. Please share your experience switching back to employment, and all kinds of culture shock you’ve had. Thanks! see hubwealthy.com/wealthy
