How to find potential users that are willing to talk with a stranger about their problems?

People keep saying "talk to your users/customers" but it doesn't seem like most people want to spend their time talking about their problems to strangers on the web. I have tried DM'ing ppl on linkedin in my niche, asking them if I could pick their brains about their profession and I don't always get a response.Are there more clever ways to find people with problems and getting them to talk about them? see hubwealthy.com/wealthy
