Hobby to business

Hello r/Entrepreneur,Extremely rookie question..I've thought about turning a few hobbies into a few businesses. But I am wondering, if I've already purchased equipment or have subscription services already (Adobe, Microsoft). For example I compete in a local bbq contest, and would like to start catering. After I form my LLC, how would I write off the smoker, warming bins, foil, butcher paper, etc..Would I just "sell" them to business? Do I actually need to transfer money over from business account to personal.Any advice is much appreciated. Thank you see hubwealthy.com/wealthy
