I'm super glad to tell this story as my life and SEO business has been on the up and up lately, but it wasn't always that way. Approximately 3 years ago right around Halloween time (that's how I remember it so well), I was working my part-time job at a local party city just trying to make ends meet. Now at that point in time, I was really struggling with life as I suffered from depression, my grades were falling, and even more so I was paying off my own schooling on a job that barely paid me enough to eat week in and week out but more so I was also working 40+ hours with no benefits as they wouldn't hire anybody "full time" but would schedule them to work crazy hours just so they didn't have to pay benefits like healthcare. It was absolutely ridiculous and on Halloween, it was only getting worse.Being a college student I actually had requested the night off to spend some time with some buddies of mine but you guessed it I was completely denied. They told me there was nobody who could work that day so I was going to have to do it and that was strike one. Despite hating my life already I needed the money so I decided whatever I'll go work. Once I arrived there the manager named Cathy at the time was already starting her usual BS by making me do every single piece of work while she and her coworker friends did nothing but watch. I stocked and organized every single shelf for hours on end only to be told I was doing it wrong and how she could do it so much better. Normally I didn't let it get to me but I didn't even want to be there in the first place so that was strike two. Then it happened, strike three.... A bunch of teenagers came in the store and did their normal teenager stuff being loud and obnoxious until they had to be removed. Cathy not wanting to deal with it sent me over to ask them to leave which I had done when all of a sudden one of the kids decided to get crazy. He wasn't looking to fight me or anything but he decided it would be better if he were to reach over and knock over every single thing in that aisle by running his arm along the shelves while his friends cheered him on. Having just stocked the shelves for hours I was furious and after they left Cathy said it was my duty to pick it all up and organize them to her liking. That was the final straw........I looked her dead in the eyes and said "You know what Cathy F*** you and F*** this job I don't need this S**t" and decided to walk out knowing full well I really did need that job. After I left I vowed I would never work for another company like that again and how I would finally stop putting my dreams on hold and pursue my dreams of becoming an entrepreneur.Fast forward a few years later and not only do I have my degree but also my SEO business has finally started to gain some traction and I've been able to land 5 clients of my own. Obviously, that doesn't make a millionaire hot shot or anything but life has been great for me and if it wasn't for that day I don't know if I ever would've truly pursued my dreams. So those of you who are currently in the position I was in my advice would be to go for it. You only have one life and you have to make it count so don't waste your time slaving for someone else at a party city as they don't care about your dreams. see hubwealthy.com/wealthy
