I have a yearly goal of reading 24 books per year among other goals, last year I had a setback and got depressed for a while. So I gave myself a break & I told myself it's okay to read only 12 books per year, but deep down I wasn't sure I will be able to finish those 12 books.Today I have been reviewing my numbers, and I did actually finish reading 12 books this year.Everything is Fucked - Mark MansonThe 4 Hour Work Week - Tim FerrissGrowth Hacker Marketing - Ryan HolidayThe Magic Of Thinking Big (2nd) - David SchwartzAnimal Farm - George OrwellThe Subtle Art Of Not Giving a Fuck - Mark MansonGrowth Hacker Marketing (2nd)- Ryan HolidayThe 5 Am Club - Robin SharmaThe Theory Of Everything - Stephen HawkingZero to One (Re) - Peter ThielThe Song Of Achilles - Madeline MillerThe Upward Spiral - Alex KorbBut what's crazy is that when I reviewed how committed I was to my weekly goal of 4 hours reading , this was the result:Career 14/52, Reading 4/52, Startup 15/52It blew my mind, I was able to keep to my adjusted goal with such low commitment. 4 weeks out of 52 weeks. This taught me a lot about why some people win & most lose, there is so much difference between people who set goals & systems and people who don't, even setting a system & barely sticking to it can widen the gap this much. see hubwealthy.com/wealthy
