Had an idea, made a functional prototype, not sure what to do next

Hey all,I had an idea a few months back that involves the circuitry in escalators. Long story short, I did the research, made sure it was unique, got the components, and built a functional prototype. All great so far, but I'm not sure what to do next. The issue is this idea isn't something I can just throw on kickstarter or use to make my own escalator company. It's something little that would make escalators better and I can't really go anywhere with that.In my mind, my only move is to spend a ton of money on patent attornies and then approach a large escalator manufacturer. But before I commit to that move I wanted some outside input. Thanks in advance see hubwealthy.com/wealthy
