How to approach company to give me products to sell on consignment?

I live in South Africa and there are a few health products from my country that I would like to try sell via etsy and instagram to Americans and people living in Europe.How would I go about approaching a potential supplier to give me some products on consignment (once I have orders) just as a trial run to see if there is enough demand?I basically want to approach a supplier , explain to them I'd like to try sell their products, but I don't want to buy the product upfront.I've got the business idea down on paper, have a social media account or two with quite a number of followers that I plan to use for this.I thought to email a few suppliers and explain to them what I want to do, just not sure what to ask them and how to make sure they understand I'm serious about this.Thanks for your help. see hubwealthy.com/wealthy
