I install residential drainage, today while digging I ran into a tree stump and it took me about 5hrs to remove the stump in the way of my drainage trench. Should I charge my client extra for this? I don’t really know how to approach the situation without potentially hurting our relationship. Is this just something I should list on the contract ahead of time moving forward?
