Building a sellable online brand vs affiliate marketing

I’m deciding between creating a low-profit dropshipping business and building a brand alongside it that I may be able to sell a few years from now. My idea is to reinvest all the money into growth over multiple years, brand the products and create a reputable company to sell given how small the profits are in dropshipping anyway. The alternative to this would be affiliate marketing, which I’m not too informed about. I understand affiliate marketing produces somewhat consistent pay and high profit, but building an online brand and selling it for a hundred grand or more seems Ike a better alternative. All much easier said than done of course, but I’d like to know what you all think is a more viable option. see hubwealthy.com/wealthy
