I have a pre-seed startup (AI/ML) based in England, UK. My co-founder and I have built a prototype/MVP (kind of). Because we are both full-time academics, we're looking to get some funding to help us develop the company.I looked at a few options and the idea of giving away some equity in exchange for funding seems like it might be our best bet. However, I quickly realized I have no idea what a 'good deal' looks like.As an example, seedcamp.com state in their FAQWe will lead your pre-seed round with investment of around £200K, usually in exchange for an ownership stake between 6% - 7%. Traditionally, these pre-seed rounds range in size from £400-750K.So, my questions are:Do any of you have experience with Seedcamp and if so, what was your experience like?Is 6% - 7% in exchange for £200k typical, too high a stake, or too low? What would you guys generally think of as a 'good deal'?Do you recommend any other Seedcamp-like companies?
