Q about naming a start-up

My partner and I have narrowed our name down to two choices for an app we are developing - let's call the names "best" and "second-best". The preferred domain for best - "best.com" was registered years ago by a now defunct business (I think they stopped operating in 2012 or so), but they still have the domain registered. "getbest.com" is available. However the twitter and instagram handles were also grabbed by this one time biz (along with @getbest on twitter). Beside these handles and domain being taken, it doesn't appear that we will be fighting against any one else on use."Second best" has no issues with squatters or handles being taken. It's all clear."Best" is the clear choice for the name because it's descriptive and intuitively obvious of what our business is about. "Second best" suffers does not have any of that going for it.With that being the case, should we plunge ahead with the best name hoping that we could one day get rights to the domain or is it better to have clear ownership and we should look for something else? see hubwealthy.com/wealthy
