Ideas to move away from practicing medicine and more from "work from anywhere"

Hi all,After reading the four hour workweek I am interested in ways physicians have been able to continue to earn without being physically present in their home location. I understand telemedicine is all the rage, however I am a medical student eyeing surgical specialties. What ways have physicians ran businesses that give them geographical freedom?I am also looking for medicine specific answers/businesses tailored towards health/medicine, but general ideas as well work too.aOther than owning a private practice and transitioning away from being an operator of the business and practicing physician, what businesses have physicians, or could, rather, physicians develop to disconnect their earning ability from their need to be physically present at their home location? One very large idea, for example, that I would love to purse, after hopefully working successfully at developing a private practice, is the idea of offering private practice advisory services in growth, marketing, management, mergers/acquisitions, product/service offerings, etc. That would be an easy transition and well suited to my skillset. However, I am trying to think of other ways to transition away from clinical practice and towards either a business that doesn't require my presence as an operator, or a business I can run from geographically anywhere for a few months out of the year. see hubwealthy.com/wealthy
